| The almond tree has been cultivated in France since 17th
century. It is the first fruit tree to blossom at the end
of winter, a season when it still freezes in the morning.
Not far away, our Ile de France region still was a countryside
where orchards blossomed. End of winter, almond trees branches
still naked, adorned with a delicate white rose flowering.
Today ultra modern town planning cohabits with agreeable islands
of greenery ; one of them, André Malraux park, opposite
the hotel, invites you to pleasant pastoral strolls.
